Sky Sentinel is a free, browser-based game for players aged 16 and older, operated by PB Advisory. PB Advisory is a trade name used by an individual sole proprietor, not a separate legal entity. PB Advisory determines how personal information is used for this site (the controller where that term applies). Your callsign, scores, and game preferences stay in your browser. Optional website analytics starts only after you allow it and complete the age and Terms confirmation.
1. Information we use and why

We use consent for optional analytics. Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, operating and securing the site and responding to inquiries rely on our legitimate interests, providing the service may rely on a contract where applicable, and legally required processing relies on legal obligations. We do not use this game for behavioral advertising, sell player information, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The game currently has no chat, advertisements, purchases, or payment collection.

Local-storage entries do not all expire automatically. They may be unavailable in storage-blocked browsers, and private sessions may discard them when closed. Existing choices and deletion controls are described below.
- Local game storage: keys beginning
skysentinel_hold the choices described above. Game data and the age/Terms confirmation remain until you clear them or the confirmation needs updating. A separate age-based block is remembered for 30 days and is not removed by the in-game deletion control. Rejecting analytics does not remove your scores. - Optional analytics: Google Analytics can set first-party cookies such as
_gaand_ga_…. This implementation requests a 180-day cookie lifetime. Vercel Web Analytics uses its own privacy-focused measurement approach without analytics cookies; we nevertheless place both services behind the same optional consent choice. - Consent duration: the game remembers an analytics choice for up to 180 days, then asks again on a later visit. Storage-blocked browsers retain choices and age-based blocks only for the current page visit; clearing site storage or using another browser can also remove a remembered block.
- Reject or withdraw: use Privacy settings in the hangar or Privacy & local data in Settings. Allow and Reject are equally available. Declining has no effect on access to gameplay. Withdrawal stops new optional analytics by reloading the page and clears accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies for this site; it ends an active mission. It does not erase data already received by providers.
- Browser signals: Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals disable optional analytics even if an older saved choice allowed it. We do not bypass those signals.
- Local deletion: Privacy settings can clear this game's saved callsign, scores, settings, confirmation, and consent choice. This restarts the game. You can also clear this site's data in browser settings. Clearing data on one browser does not clear a different browser.
Only game operation, preference/confirmation storage, and necessary hosting are used without optional analytics consent. Reading these Privacy and Terms pages does not load analytics. Agreeing to the Terms is not consent to analytics.
3. Providers, disclosures, and international processing
We use Vercel to host the site. If you opt in, Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics receive website usage information. Google advertising signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our game configuration; dashboard settings and provider practices also affect processing. We do not deliberately attach your nickname, scores, email address, or age confirmation to analytics events; gameplay events are limited to the fixed labels described above.

Providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate, which may have different privacy laws from your location. International transfers remain subject to applicable legal safeguards. Contact us for information about processing relevant to your request. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or reasonably necessary to address security incidents or establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
4. Retention and security
Local storage and cookie periods are described above. Website analytics and hosting logs follow the relevant provider's retention rules and our account configuration; we do not represent an unverified provider retention period as a guarantee. Correspondence is retained as needed to resolve your inquiry and meet applicable legal obligations. Consent withdrawal affects future collection, not existing records automatically.
We use HTTPS on production hosting and browser security restrictions. No internet service can promise absolute security. Local scores are convenience records, not verified competitive results, and can be lost when browser storage is cleared.
5. Privacy rights and contact
Contact the operator, PB Advisory, at contact@pbadvisory.io for privacy questions or requests. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, request a portable copy of information, or withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. We will address requests within the deadlines applicable to us and will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights. We may request proportionate information to locate relevant records or confirm a request's authenticity.
We do not have server copies of your locally stored callsign or high scores, so we cannot retrieve or remotely erase them. Use the local deletion control for those values. If a request concerns provider-held analytics, contact us; we will explain what can be located and what steps are available. Do not send an identity document unless we specifically establish a lawful need and secure process.
6. Children and younger players
This game is intended for ages 16+ and is not directed at children under 13. Players under 16 should not play or enable analytics. The first-launch screen asks for birth month and year without a default. It is self-declared, not independently verified. To avoid assuming a birthday day, eligibility begins after the entire sixteenth birthday month has passed. Birth values are immediately discarded, with only the outcome stored locally. An age-based block disables gameplay and optional analytics and is remembered on that browser for 30 days when storage is available. Reloading or clearing saved game data through the game does not remove that block. Players under 18 or the applicable age of majority must have a parent or guardian review the Terms and agree to their use.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, email PB Advisory so we can investigate and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required. Do not send the child's full birth date or identity documents. This age policy does not replace obligations imposed by children's privacy laws.
7. Updates
We will update the date when this notice changes and provide additional notice where required. Material changes to consent-based processing require an appropriate new choice rather than treating continued play as consent. Current Terms and confirmation versions are tracked locally.
