Terms of Play

These Terms cover the Sky Sentinel browser game provided by PB Advisory. PB Advisory is a trade name used by an individual sole proprietor, not a separate legal entity. Please read them before playing. Confirming the Terms in the preflight dialog means you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not launch the game. Privacy choices remain separate.
1. Eligibility and agreement
Sky Sentinel is for people aged 16 and older. If you are under 18 or the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review these Terms with you and agree to your use. If applicable law requires a higher age or other valid authorization, that requirement also applies. Do not play if you cannot meet these conditions.
The 16+ notice is our audience policy, not an official ESRB or PEGI rating. Age confirmation does not independently verify identity or remove protections that apply to minors. A browser-held acceptance record is not a user account.
2. What the game offers
The current game is free and plays in your browser. It has no accounts, chat, purchases, cash prizes, or server-ranked competition. Your callsign, scores, and preferences are stored locally. Private or Incognito windows usually discard these records when the private session ends. Clearing site data deletes them. Records may also disappear if storage is unavailable, modified, or affected by browser or game changes. We cannot restore local records that we do not hold.
3. Permission to play and share
Subject to these Terms, PB Advisory grants you a limited, non-exclusive permission to access and play the game for personal entertainment. Game content and branding belong to their respective owners or licensors. Third-party materials retain their own licenses, including the Orbitron Open Font License.
You may share screenshots and recordings of your own gameplay, including commentary and ordinary platform monetization, provided you respect others' rights, retain relevant attribution, and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement by PB Advisory. This permission does not authorize selling, republishing, or claiming ownership of the game or its artwork. Any rights granted by an applicable open-source or third-party license remain governed by that license.
4. Acceptable use
Use the game lawfully. Do not interfere with hosting or other users, attempt unauthorized access to infrastructure, introduce harmful code, overload the site, impersonate PB Advisory, misrepresent affiliation, or use the game to infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights. Automated testing of your own local copy and activities expressly permitted by applicable law or a relevant license are not prohibited by this clause.
We may restrict access or take proportionate action to address misuse, security problems, legal obligations, or violations of these Terms. No right to access third-party infrastructure or bypass security controls is granted.
5. Content and comfort
The game includes fantasy combat, explosions, movement, and flashing visual effects. Motion, flashes, and audio can be reduced in Settings. Those controls do not remove every moving or bright effect. If the effects make you uncomfortable, stop playing. The game is fictional entertainment, not flight training or safety instruction.
6. Privacy and external services
The Privacy Notice explains browser storage, necessary hosting, optional analytics, and your choices. Analytics is not required to play and is not authorized merely by agreeing to these Terms. External sites and provider services have their own terms and privacy practices; a link does not imply an endorsement.
7. Availability and warranty limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the free game is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, compatibility with every device, or preservation of local data. To that extent, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement are excluded.
We may update, change, pause, or discontinue the game for operational, security, or other legitimate reasons. Where applicable law requires notice, remedies, or other protections, those requirements still apply. Future purchases or materially different services would need appropriate additional terms; these Terms do not silently authorize a charge.
8. Liability and mandatory rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, PB Advisory will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of browser-held data arising from use of, or inability to use, the free game.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited. This includes mandatory consumer rights and liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or death/personal injury where an exclusion is prohibited. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty or liability exclusions, so those exclusions apply only where lawful. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive class-action or statutory rights.
9. Changes, disputes, and severability
Material changes will be identified with an updated effective date and, where appropriate, renewed confirmation before play. Changes do not retroactively remove rights relating to earlier events. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent allowed by law. Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive future enforcement.
Contact us first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. Applicable law determines any required jurisdiction and your available remedies; these Terms do not require you to surrender mandatory protections in your place of residence.
